my five line poem titled “Imagination in a Cardboard box”

life, poem, poetry, Uncategorized, writing

Imagination doesn’t disappear as you get older,

It just gets packed away into a cardboard box.

Along with the other toys you don’t play with anymore,

Until years later when you pull the box from your closet,

And blow the dust off.
